Facebook users, take heed: Some secrets are best left undisclosed, no matter how juicy and intriguing. Those who have encountered the application within Facebook called “Secret Crush” are bound to get a surprise because the said app actually loads adware/spyware that can spread in their friendly virtual neighborhood. With close to 60 million users and still growing, the popular social networking site is once again the target of a malicious attack.
There comes a time in every young person’s life—soon after teething, usually—when she must make a momentous decision: MySpace or Facebook? One’s preference is a matter of taste. MySpace, if you ask me, is a spam-infested state of nature. The average user page comes with a crapload of embedded music and video players, some seizure-inducing wallpaper, and a bunch of friend requests from “models” who want to “get to know you.” (It also happens to be nearly three times the size of Facebook.) Facebook, on the other hand, is much less customizable but also a lot more reassuring. The interface is comfy, sturdy, and attractive without being showy—the kind of social network you’d bring home to Mom. Think of it as the Volvo of social networking.
Secret Crush was quickly branded a malicious widget by the security researchers who discovered it, seeing as how it poses as a legitimate application that promises to reveal someone’s admirer(s). In reality, it loads an adware/spyware associated with Zango, which historically has been linked to adware and spyware designed to gain access to certain games, DRM-protected videos, and software. In 2006, the FBI gave it a fine of US$3 million for allowing third parties to secretly install its adware.
Secret Crush also tricks affected users into forwarding the application to their friends in Facebook, increasing the chances of the program being passed around. The best thing that can only happen when it is installed is that users come to realize that no list of their admirers will actually be revealed. But by then they would have already forwarded it to friends, who would have forwarded it to other friends, and so on. According to this post in Wired.com’s Threat Level blog, around 4% of total Facebook users have already added it, bringing the number of affected users to about a million.

When you run a busy company, you probably are going to prefer to conduct all of your business in whichever method consumes the least amount of your time. Most of the time, this means doing as many things online and through email as you can. Knowing that this desire exists in many of their customers is why many order fulfillment services and couriers have made it possible for you to place a request for a shipment through email.
Using email as a primary method of requesting courier service has also become much more practical now that we tend to have access to email everywhere we go. Previously, most people only had access to email in their offices, but now almost everyone can send and receive full emails right from their Smartphones. This provides them with a very easy way to place their orders into a courier company no matter where they are or what they are doing when they realize they have a need to place an order.
If you want the flexibility to be able to place an order via email with your courier, you should know that you’re probably going to have to open an account with a courier company in order to do this. Usually, any features or perks, especially those revolving around use of any online interaction or software, that a courier might offer tends to require that you open an account with them. Once you have, you may be able to just email them with a quick reference to your account number so they can begin to initiate a pickup or delivery.

I have just started reading one of my Rich Dad Advisor books “How To Create A Winning Business Plan” and it an extremely challenging book.
I know that I want to be financially free in 5 years. I also know that I want to achieve this through investing in positive cashflow property. I even know my first few property deals and the return I can expect on them but I really don’t know much beyond that.
I don’t have a complete business plan to map out how I am going to get from where I am now to where I want to be in 5 years.
I think the main reason I lack a business plan is because I lack experience. Part of my ‘plan’ is to continue to learn better ways to invest in property. So I don’t know now the things I will know in 3 years time, so how can I write that down in my business plan?
Thinking about a business plan has been great because it has helped me define
My Exit Strategy – For each property deal I need to have an exit strategy before I purchase it. I hadn’t really thought about my exit strategy before, so it is helpful to start thinking about that now
How To Pay Back Capital – People investing their capital with me will obviously want to know what return on their investment they are going to get. But just as importantly they want to know when they are going to get their capital back. So I have really had to put my head down and work that out. Can I achieve that through rental income, or do I need to wait until the property goes up and refinance. How am I going to get their capital back
Worst Case Scenario – I have already gone through a few of these, but when investing by yourself you REALLY have to know the worst case scenario and whether or not you can afford it.
Scaling – Scaling is simply repeating what you did on a bigger scale. Instead of doing just one property do two, or do a unit block. In order to scale you need to have skill and capital behind you. My business plan is making me think about how I can scale my property investing effectively
So there you have it. Today what I did to move towards wealth was think about my business plan for property and I started to work out in even more detail exactly what I hope to achieve and how I plan to achieve it.
