Small Business Web Sites and SEO
In the past 3 months I’is already about 50 SEO audits for small businesses websites, and I duly sent off to the owners of the website by 25 audit reports on what they can do to improve their websites and improve their rank on the main search engines, including Google and Bing. I’event, these business owners for their current position for the most commonly searched terms and keywords are relevant to their activities. While the implementation of the audit, several issues have become more than clear to me is, (1), most of these sites were very poorly optimized to start with the web developer, and (2), some owners do not have access to their websites admin works include head files and must be paid in its design company, every time you want to change some code.
How about that place for a ransom of who actually owns the site, well let me tell you that it is not you!
One-line business only outright refuses to provide access to the owners and insists on charging them each time you want to change the data, making it very difficult to actually optimal location. SEO is not set and forget, and sometimes each site should be massaged to get it to rank well just imagine if these costs were charged to each content and coding changes were recommended. Of course the point of this task to get as much revenue out of you as possible, and given that most small business owners I’I do not have an audit of the concept of creating websites or SEO, you are simply picking. So, how to avoid ever fleeced by these companies? First, make sure you have full access to all files on your website, so if you need to change on your website that can be done through your back-end administration site that has full control over your HTML title tag and your meta description tag, also make sure that your CMS does not create a dynamic URL’s are much more difficult for listing on search engines, static URL’s really are what you need.
